The Teams

Lakeland High School competes in the second highest classification (5A) in Florida and has won three of the past four state championships.  Along the way the Dreadnaughts have accumulated a recored of 55-2 with the nations number one ranking in 2005, according to USA Today.  Carolina Panther running back Rod Smart is an alumnus of Lakeland.
