The Teams

Despite only starting football in 1989 the Evangel Christian Eagles from Shreveport, Louisiana have won state Championships in seven of the last ten years.  Along that way Evangel has also finished as high as second and third in the nation according to USA Today. Former starting quarterback for the University of Southern California John David Booty and L.S.U. running back Jacob Hester were teammates together at Evangel.
