The Teams

Independence High School from Charlotte, North Carolina has finished in the top ten in the nation six out of the last seven years.  The Patriots not only won six state championships in a row, but along the way accumlated a 109 game winning streak which is the second longest winning streak in the history of high school football.  Chris Leak led Independence High School to State Championships prior to leading the Florida Gators to a National Championship as the starting quarterback of both teams.
